Silverback™ Straddle Ankle Fusion System
Product Description
The Silverback™ Straddle Ankle Fusion Plating System is designed to supplement the Phantom® Hindfoot TTC/TC Nail, allowing surgeons to create a plate and nail construct for tibiotalocalcaneal (TTC) or tibiocalcaneal (TC) arthrodesis. The 12-plate system supports anterior, lateral, or posterior surgical approaches and is engineered to evenly distribute force across the combined construct.
- 12 plates supporting anterior, lateral, and posterior approaches — anterior and posterior plates available in flat and contoured versions
- Lateral plates available in flat TC and TTC versions to accommodate varying anatomy
- Transitional plate thickness — thickest at highest-stress zone and tapering proximally and distally to limit soft tissue irritation
- Hole sizing accepts Silverback™ Ø4.5mm and Ø5.2mm screws in the tibia and calcaneus; Gorilla® screws in talar screw holes
- All screws can be placed on-axis or off-axis up to 15° using the Straight/EZ Cone Guide
- Accommodates the Phantom® Hindfoot TTC/TC Nail to evenly distribute force and guard against stress shielding during healing
