Product Description

The Gorilla® Pilon Fusion Plating System is designed to address complex pilon fractures requiring primary tibiotalar fusion, particularly in cases of severe comminution or compromised bone. Developed with leading orthopedic trauma and foot and ankle surgeons, the system provides anatomically contoured, low-profile plates with robust instrumentation optimized for both open and percutaneous techniques.

• Plates available in Short, Medium, and Long lengths to accommodate a range of patient anatomies
• Anterolateral plate includes a Ø5.5mm screw slot for crossing Monster® screw placement with axial compression at the tibiotalar joint
• Reinforced spanning geometry supports stability through comminution zones
• Universal circular plate holes accept Ø2.7mm, Ø3.5mm, and Ø4.2mm locking and non-locking screws
• Tapered plate ends reduce incision length and soft tissue dissection during percutaneous application
• Optional Backpack Drill Guide and percutaneous trocars for minimally invasive fixation
• Compatible with the Gorilla® Ankle Fracture 360™ platform
